Cruyff City Pack

When Johan Cruyff played matches, the sporting legend was known to cause traffic jams at stadiums world-wide. Johan holds a special place in the heart of four iconic cities and our new City Packs pay homage to each. A mix of Cruyff glory, history and an ode to his connection with Amsterdam, Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester feature in this collection.

As a child, Johan Cruyff learned to play football on the streets of Amsterdam. As goal poles, he and his friends would often use Amsterdammertjes; iron poles used to obstruct cars from parking on the pavement. Amsterdammertjes are decorated with three crosses: a reference to the Coat of Arms of Amsterdam. Nowadays, Amsterdammertjes are one of the most iconic symbols of the city. These two icons are brought together in this epic city pack. Put on the AMS hoodie or t-shirt and get cycling.

All in the family

In the 70s, Johan Cruyff showed 90.000 Mancunians at Wembley how Total Football is played. He crushed the Three Lions with the help of his friends Johnny Rep and Rob Rensenbrink. In the 90s, he returned to Manchester. Not to defeat English teams, but as a proud father on the stands of Old Trafford. The history of Jordi and Johan at Manchester merge in this legendary city pack, starring the famous Worker Bee: a tireless player of Manchester F.C.

Close your eyes and imagine you walk around Barcelona and really take in the beautiful panot tiles. Covering over 5 million square metres of Barcelona´s pavements, they are ubiquitous to the Catalan Capital. Surely, Johan Cruyff walked on a lot of them during his time there. For Johan, the concept of failure was unknown. When he walked on the pavements and gazed at the iconic panot, the Flower of Barcelona, he only smiled and enjoyed the incredible richness of his second home. This feeling comes together in our epic city pack. Wear it and feel the elegance of Barcelona.

Johan’s all-time favourite match was in 1966. In the legendary ‘Fog Match’, Ajax beat Liverpool in Amsterdam with 5-1. A football match where 22 players played with extremely reduced visibility, and where folktales were born. Even the commentator wasn’t always certain who scored a goal. Liverpool continues to be one of the strongest teams in the world and their shirts proudly boast the city´s symbol on their chest: the Liver Bird. This epic city pack pays tribute to both. Wear it and embrace a legendary football match.
